    OK the only good thing about a chevy diesel is the big radiator it came with. keep it. no matter what motor you choose to run there is no such this as too much cooling. Most square bodies would benefit from better cooling . OOH sh!t the deisel guys are going to go off now lol .

    just my 2 cents the factory a6 works fine. thats what im running in mine,it makes ice in AZ. An A6 is old tech big n bulky but does the job. An A6 is far more reliable than the R4 grenade.

    My 87 tanks were connected with rubber hose/ clamps to the hard line. Make sure you use injection hose it has a much higher pressure rating. To the best of my recollection the tank switch valve maxes out at about 50 psi not sure what pressure your running.
