    I kinda thought that too. But it's like little flap of rubber that didn't go all the way through like a split in the hose. I took it around the block and then checked the level. All good and doesn't seem to be leaking. Yet anyway lol

    Found and fixed transmission leak. Seems as a hose clamp broke and fell off. So I put two back on and it's holding so far. How easy. I should have done it sooner. Had to put 2 qts back in so far. Need to take it around the block to warm it up and check again.

    I had one like that on the 82. I smashed a glob of that puddy on it you can get and it's held up well. Still on there. It was easy.

    Ripped some of my cds to my laptop then put them on a thumb drive to listen to in the 84. Works great! Need to tidy up the wires I see. Lol

    The Best Carburetor?

    Quadrajet has always done right by me. Have one on the 454 and it works great. Every edelbrock I have had a been a huge pos. One on the 84 now sucks. Just haven't replaced it. Never had a holley so can't speak to them.

    Took the 82 for a ride and discovered a transmission leak. Think it's one of the rubber lines. I didn't have them bend hard lines to save 300 bucks but looks like now I need to.     When your compressor kicks on it puts a load on the motor. It's normal.

    They make a puddy that will fix that. I put a hole on mine then smashed some of that puddy on it and it's still holding up. Walmart or auto parts should have it. Waterproof too.
