    Yup, they're starting up masks again and a brand new jab too. Be ready for an attempt to lock us down again in December. Sad how many sheep will obey the same as last time. This guy won't wear a mask or take a jab. My immune system will handle it if I get it.

    This is why I'm glad both mine have carbs on them. Although I'm about to chunk the Eddy on the 84 and replace with a new quadrajet. No check engine light for me! Hope you get it fixed.

    This makes some sense because he bench tested it right in front of me and it function right. I thought the clearance was too tight and it wasn't letting the starter draw the gear back properly. But what do I know.? I do know fixing the $hitty wires to the starter on the 82 fixed it. So might...

    Because it was making that noise and it didn't before. All he did was replace armature, brushes and bushings Because he showed me how bad the old parts were. So I thought it should bolt right up. Then it made that sound. I have gotten 2 prior from the auto parts houses and neither were close...

    It had a new armature and bushings replaced. Teeth on flywheel are not damaged either.

    Put all the shims on the starter and it still grinding a bit. Should I put more on or what? It didn't have any when I pulled it and had it rebuilt. So I'm at a loss here. Here's a video of me starting it and noise it makes.

    I have 3.73 rear end and 275/60/r15 on mine with 700r4. 2200 tc Good setup for me. Runs about 2,200 rpm at 65mph in od.

    Got the old rebuilt starter on the 84 today. Cranks over real good but drags a bit. Looks like I'll have to put some shims on it. That's for tomorrow it's beer 30 now. Plus seems as if it sits for a couple of weeks it doesn't like to fire up without some help from pouring in some gas or starter...

    2015 Camaro V6 2LS

    Had to change the led light on pass side today. I noticed when I parked at work this morning. Lasted 4 and a half years and I have 2 spares. Now I have to get it inspection and tags tomorrow while ruckus gets his paw worked on.

    Just reinforced the wooden flag poles with 3/8 ss tubing. I think the 1/4" wood would break at 60 plus. Lol
