What have you done to your square lately??

I like this. I have temporarily fashioned one out of a narrow cardboard box that tapered to the top, kind of like a triangle, that a plant was delivered in to our house. It made sense to do because I keep the fluids back there as well, and the original tool/storage tray from GM was just...

Need really good, really cheap shocks that will install themselves and last forever.....

I have Ranchos for 2 reasons: PO used them, and they were a good price point for shocks that seemed to be 4x4/off-road centric, not that I drive off-road much at all, but the truck is "lifted" 2 inches on blocks. Also, I bought them 2 at a time to save a dime and installed when I had them all...

What have you done to your square lately??

To summarize, lol: -Reattached the TV cable. It's likely been off since I picked it up from the shop. It was connected after TBI was rebuilt before heading to the shop. Once I reconnected and reset the cable the hard shift went away and the truck drives great again. I know, I know but this time...

What have you done to your square lately??

@gmbellew Glen, thanks for your quick response and talking me off the ledge. The truck is running great again and no hard shift in to 2nd gear anymore. @bucket Andy thanks for your knowledge here as well. I should have looked at the the TV cable after your and Glens mention the first times...

What have you done to your square lately??

Should I take it for a drive with cable re-attached? Isn't there another clip for this or does it just go on this easily?

What have you done to your square lately??

Yes. A couple of people have mentioned the TV cable. That is what prompted me to check on it while it was stumbling today. I have also researched adjusting the TV cable. I guess I will start adjusting it now.

What have you done to your square lately??

I guess it's not just the clip but the whole end is snapped off? Is it possible to get a new end piece or will this require a new cable? Researching...

What have you done to your square lately??

So, I've been driving it and loving to be driving it again even with the intermittent hard shift in to 2nd. I even got to the point where I could control, or so it seemed, the severity of the shift in. Today while running errands it started stumbling just a little while I turned on to the main...

    Vent window handle replacement

Similar methods of installing here with the center punch for the pin until I could grasp it with pliers on the other side, and getting creative with grips etc...

    Vent window handle replacement

I got a set from AMD and they went in fine even though I had to figure out where they actually set at rest and open after installing. Just a slight adjustment. Once they were where they were supposed to they work smooth like they should.

    80 sq body

Are you planning to preserve what is on it now or paint it again one day? It looks pretty awesome/timeless/"vintaged" (reliced?) and will look way better when you wash, buff, and wax it!
