    They had a Russet Metallic that looks like a dark orange. Our '79 Burb was dark brown metallic, but darker than this one, if that's a brown. I know in '80 the dark brown metallic is more root beer ish than the '81 dark brown metallic, because of how our '81 Sierra was after it got a scratched up...

    Down here, they rot around the rear AC on the right rear corner. Even with a good back glass or barn doors. I've seen them with holes back there, almost as big as a human head....

    Navy blue and silver, that's the combo our '84 Burb was. Ours was 2wd and a 350, also had a 700R4. I think, in the 13 years we had it, the trans got rebuilt. Dad and I went through it, bumper to bumper, over those 13 years...the paint had gotten bad especially on the roof, but it started up...

    Cool! Those would look good on my crew cab too..... If you decide to use these, be sure to get the correct lug nuts. Most aftermarket wheels use a shouldered nut with a washer, not the conical base lugs like the factory steel wheels use. And I'd suggest investing in a set of wheel lock nuts too.

    I had a 2001 King Ranch supercrew truck for a little bit, drove it till it remembered it was a Phord and was starting to lose the transmission. In radiator cooler rotted and turned the fluid muddy..... The seats were comfortable, and had good leather on them despite being over 20 years old...

    Looks just like the one we had except ours was light metallic blue on the sides. Same running gear and equipment though! If you need/want an extra set of those wheelcovers, I have a set for sale. I restored the paint on the emblems, and never got them back on the Burb.

    Well at least there you're ahead. This axle upgrade is something that would be done on a K10 if the owner wants to do a lot of 4 wheeling.

    I'd be concerned about the crack in the cab near the corner of the rear window. Might be Bondo or rust under that paint; paint can crack from extreme temperature shifts too.
