First, the blocks were already installed on the factory rear springs when I bought The Truck. There was a 3rd leaf added to the front and there was nothing about that set up that I liked. Your 1987 does have a way to read the codes in the ECM. A decent shop should be able to do this, you can do it at home if you need to. Hopefully someone will come along that can tell you the procedure but it involves jumping across two pins on the diagnostic port. That is located in the same...- Redfish

In the ongoing drama of The Leaking Radiator... apparently it was NOT the radiator itself. The heater hose that attaches just below the filler neck was leaking. Because it is a brand new shiny, slick, plastic radiator there was no trace of the anti-freeze anywhere on the radiator itself, just... -

Mitey Vac. I love this thing. I wasted my money on a cheap Harbor Freight pneumatic brake bleeder and ended up buying the Mitey Vac to replace it. It works, it's clean, and you don't need two people to bleed the brakes.- Redfish

Do I need different gears with 33” tires and 4” lift
What 4 speed Muncie do you have? I am running 33s with 3.42 gears with an SM465 4 speed. I am fairly happy with it but it was never a dragster before the mud grips. If I were going from the ridiculously tall gears you have I would suggest going to 3.73s.- Redfish

Look, I am usually aligned with you but you have definitely crossed a line here. You cannot be telling people that your Cummins diesel isn't getting 20+mpg.
