I've wanted a tach with diesel too. Maybe just a magnetic pickup near balancer and glue a small magnet to balancer and now you have a tach signal?- squaredeal91

Trade? Lol, I have a nice 14"wheel I took off my 78 and put on a crusty sticky one from a 73. I think it's a grant. Black grip w/chrome. I'll find it and post pictures- squaredeal91

I like them both for what they are but the black one is too modern for me lol personally like the comfort grip and like it's look and that it's 15" but I like big steering wheels lol. The one in my 59 viking 60 is huge lol watch your thumbs. But on the other hand the black one is more truckie- squaredeal91

Headers or manifolds for 86k10 350 w/ Vortec heads?
I have headers on our daily burb 1999 vortec 350. the ones I got are stainless steel and were cheap. They look good and have a thick flange. I battled loose bolts for a good while and ended up getting stainless hardware to cure it and its been fine the last 3+ years. I have had headers on...- squaredeal91

Plastic thread repair
Electrical pipe/ conduit is straight thread if that helps. Back a long time ago all pipe had straight threads and when they came out with tapered they gave it to the plumbing world- squaredeal91

98' Vortec Block, Timing Cover and Balancer Spacing Questions.
it's been a few years and I'm a little rusty but I put in a cloyes true roller 4°advance timing chain in our 99 350/5.7 vortec and it needs to be the correct gear set for that. Timing cover is plastic and one time use because of the seal. I got my first set by mistake and got one for a ZZ4 and...- squaredeal91
