    No that's not normal to me. I'm surprised yours doesn't have a cooler. I mean most didn't till later but being a 1990 burb I figured it would. Sounds kinda like a weak pump maybe? Maybe fluid flush? Should have atf in it. I've personally never used power steering fluid and think the atf works...

    Now that you confirmed you have a 168 tooth flex plate and a 350 Let's back up to the history on the starter. How did we get to this? Replacing starter? Did you get the vehicle without a starter? Did the old one work good till it didn't and the new one is crap?

    That's how the old dodges were. Remember? They sounded like they would never start but then would lol. The newer high torque ones sound like they spin the engine fast.

    Looks to me like might have incorrect starter. Chevy used 2 different count flexplate teeth. 168 and something else. Is thuis on a Big Block?

    For example of GMC vs Chevy. From "Roughly " 1960 to maybe 1972 the GMC had leaf springs and Chevys had coils. No real difference after that other than badging. And personally In some cases I like some of the GMC Grilles better.

    I have an adapter somewhere. They have water go through it with hoses I think. But yes the earlier TBI Big Blocks had carb intake with an adapter. There about an inch or more in thickness.

    454 only used carb intake with adapter. The small blocks had a tbi intake. I always thought that was cool

    There's probably another bolt. These Engine accessory brackets are really integrated and have lots of bolts. just wiggle and look till you find the bolt that's still tight
