    Bvllsh!t on craigslist.

Sounds good. I wouldn't be shocked if we have it here. When I get to Sheetz in the next few days, I'll take a peek at everything and let you know. To be honest, we get more things from the Morgantown WV area than we even do Pittsburgh here in our little corner of the state.

    Bvllsh!t on craigslist.

You have me thinking about it now. I will definitely check tomorrow or Saturday. We have something called the PennySaver for sure. But, it isn't exclusively vehicles.

    Bvllsh!t on craigslist.

No, I've never seen it. I'll look close the next time I am at Sheetz.

I miss the old AutoTrader books that you could buy at the gas station.

    Bvllsh!t on craigslist.

There has to be a half dozen vehicles or more that have been for sale on Craigslist or Marketplace for nearing 2 years now. They keep relisting them at the same price over and over again. They know what they have sure has worked out for them so far.

What new tools have you got lately?

I went through a phase where all I wanted to buy was Snap or Mac. Great tools. But, very, very expensive. Guess what I do now, if I need something for a one time use.....I go to HF or as I mentioned above, Auto Zone or Amazon. Probably 60% of my hand tools are actually 50's and 60's vintage...

What new tools have you got lately?

I've purchased a few of those Duralast sockets recently from our local AutoZone when I've needed one in a pinch. (AZ is 5 min away) Anyway, I haven't broken one yet. For cheap auto parts store tools, they have been darn good.

    Budget Beater Build: 2004 Dakota

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. Believe it or not, I am actually looking forward to the challenge. The only mark on the entire truck is on the front bumper from where someone backed in to it in a parking lot. Other than that, the paint and body look fantastic for something 18 years...

    Budget Beater Build: 2004 Dakota

Thanks everyone. It's good to know that I'm not out of my mind trying to keep this around for a while. I'm hoping that having it on the road will make our fall easier. My daughter has been wanting a vehicle to drive to school in the fall. I hope this will work for her.

    Budget Beater Build: 2004 Dakota

Here are a few pics of the rest of the truck. Everything works except the oil pressure gauge. Even the AC still blows cold. I don't have the heart to part this thing out. 91K on it. 4.7L V8, 3.92 gears.

    Budget Beater Build: 2004 Dakota

You know the old saying..."Nothing is more expensive than a free vehicle"? Well, I'm thinking of finding out....LOL Last fall, my father had the brakes go out on a 2004 Dodge Dakota that he has owned since 2008. He knew that two of the cab mounts were already rusted out. So, instead of...

    5th wheel plate

Those are very good quality hitches and very $$$ new. I have a couple of friends that use them and love them. I'm sure that someone is going to be very happy to find one used.

What new tools have you got lately?

Not that I want to admit it, but I had that happen to an oil filter wrench once. I did an oil change on my Cummins and left the wrench on the bottom of the filter. How it didn't vibrate off in 7500 miles I'll never know.

    TPI parts worth swapping?

Yes, a broad torque curve but pretty much limited above 4500 RPM. Would probably work well in a truck application. You would need a stand alone controller to run it I believe. No basic difference in a 305 or 350 application other than injectors if I remember correctly. I have a spare lower...

    Auto Lifter Ramp Lift

I have a Kwik Lift in my home shop. I love it. I will grab a few pics of my other computer a little later today. On edit: Added pics.

    Holy Grail of Squarebodys

I think that it is the square that you own and love that is the Holy Grail. With that said, it really depends on your perspective and use. I'm a short bed 1/2 ton guy. Others prefer the 3/4 and 1 tons. Now some of the really rare ones may demand a higher premium, the Blazer Chalet as an...

    Unbelievable price at O'reillys today.

Be thankful that you found it locally. When I did the fuel pump on my Corvette last summer, I was looking for a short piece to bypass the pulsator and most places that I called or stopped by had no idea what I was talking about.

    Can we be honest people?

Nothing wrong with that. Like I said, I remember them when they were new and I don't blame you for wanting one.

    Can we be honest people?

I always loved the Citation X-11's. A friend of ours had a silver one and I thought it was really nice when it was new. Of course, I also liked the Pontiac Fiero back when they were new. So, I may not have the best judgement.....LOL

    Can we be honest people?

The biggest oddity that I experienced with a GM product was the front axle disconnect design on my former 1985 S10 Blazer. Whoever designed that vacuum switch on the transfer case and diaphragm on the inner fender needed their head examined.

CLEAN 80s K10 in Seattle for sale

A clean G-Body with solid rear frame sections and floors is darn near impossible in the north east. Of course, the good ones demand a very high premium.

What have you done to your square lately??

I'm not anywhere near my '79 at the moment to get a picture, but it has they OEM shocks on it and they have the spirals on the tubes.
