Charging system issue 84 GMC 1500
Thats what I needed Thanks Jesse We had the alternator tested to be sure it was not defective, and tested good. That diagram gives me areas to look at. When I replaced the plug on top of the alternator, the positive wire looked clean at the end anyway. Very helpful thanks so much!!- Butch84

Charging system issue 84 GMC 1500
Butch has a charging issue. 84 GMC 1500. Stock 305. Replaced the battery, alternator, and the plug on top of the alternator because it looked pretty much shot. Still not charging. Been told its probably a ground wire rusted out somewhere but don't know where to start. Any help is appreciated. Thanks- Butch84
