And those EGR ports were cleaned before I put the new EGR on, but the where the ports meet, head to intake, the only way to check is to remove the intake to see if there clogged.. and I haven't tried that... but has anyone heard of that, and would it cause my symptoms?

The distributor has very little play under the cap, (turning the rotor has very little movement), the retainer is tight and number 1 is pointed towards the number 1 cyl.. again, timing is near perfect, if not perfect..

Power surge at 2% to 90% throttle..

The only thing I do know, is it idles great, and it will run like a scalded ape when throttle is to the floor.. but in between 2%-90% throttle, it's terrible... I have heard different suggestions from other forums... such as: Intake has clogged EGR ports that connect to the head.. A failing Fuel...

I had too much new stuff to post it all together, but I had checked and replaced the EGR valve last year.. it is functioning correctly... melted vacuum line from MAP sensor? How did that happen, unless the line was against the EGR?

The problem has been there since I bought the truck 2 yrs ago... but it had many other problems before I got it dialed down to this last problem... it wasn't this bad till a week ago, it was intermittent and would come and go once in awhile, but now it is constantly doing it... making it...

Power surge at 2% to 90% throttle..

As for MAP sensor, the scanner did show it was a little low, but not enough to cause this.. and not low enough to throw a code either...

Power surge at 2% to 90% throttle..

Timing is dead on... and no SES codes, it has had 3 months to store codes since I last disconnected the battery... also had it connected to scanner 3 days ago and all sensors are communicating with ECM without issues..
