    Finally got a running 65 C10

I thought I had a pic of my setup but the only one of the clutch shows how much life was left on it after I bought the truck. Nothing that shows the fork and throw out bearing.

Looks good to me. You have the bearing part facing the clutch.

    Intake Manifold RTV Dry Times

That made me recall back in 2014 when I had just stabbed the engine back in the '81 and was reinstalling the passenger side exhaust manifold. I had just got my body tucked in there to get the back bolt started when my neighbor drove up and started honking for me to come out and talk. I ignored...

    Intake Manifold RTV Dry Times

Never tried the right stuff, only watched the movie. I'll buy some before my next intake project to try it out

What have you done to your square lately??

ODD! When I tried tagging him earlier his name didn't show as an option. I did the @, then typed in rusty and waited for options, and his was not one of them. Just now I tried it the same as I did earlier and it showed up. Only difference was computer(earlier), phone(now). Good to see he...

    Intake Manifold RTV Dry Times

Longer wait time would be better, but you should be okay. And definitely use black or grey. I made the mistake of using blue and had to redo it because of an oil leak.

What have you done to your square lately??

I saw that, after I posted my response and read the other replies regarding that. That's why I edited my post to be a "." In Rusty's case I think the connector split and he had to recreate it. In your case it appears it was as simple as sliding the connector back on and snapping in to place...

    Finally got a running 65 C10

I bought that dampener remover/installer kit. I am shocked there isn't something in there that would work on the crank of your engine. You'd think a comprehensive kit like would cover everything. I guess GM used an oddball size dampener bolt back then. Simple things like that, that trip up...

Twitchy steering with a big travel trailer (rear sway bar help?)

I think they'll look good on there. And as @Frankenchevy said, one spare is better than two

Twitchy steering with a big travel trailer (rear sway bar help?)

I would go with the Toyo E rated all the way around.

What have you done to your square lately??

Did you seal both sides and both ends? If not, you should. Fairly fresh in 2015, the PO said it was recently redone, so I thought they sealed the wood correctly. When this was taken I'd had the truck for just over 4 months. It only took a few winter rain storms and this happened. These...

Twitchy steering with a big travel trailer (rear sway bar help?)

Looks good. I personally wouldn't do different load ratings front and back

Replace front Seal in SM465 with Trans in Truck?

I would recommend unbolting the bell housing, bracing the trans and transfer case in place, remove engine, reseal engine, reseal transmission, reinstall engine. If the clutch is iffy, meaning you don't know how many miles are on it or how long it's been in service, replace it with a clutch kit...
