    I got my tom woods front drive shaft and got it bolted in and no more clunking!! But when installing it i had to stretch it alittle to get it to bolt up.

    Well i went out today in this cold ass michigan weather and i checked my timing. because i started the truck this morning without the air filter on and my carb was on fire. So i did alittle research and it said i should advance my timing Well i advanced it quite a bit and it no longer pops out...

    It has a 1405 eddy right now. I got it running decently at 18°. And i adjusted the idle mixture screws. The right side was only turned out a half turn. The left was 4 turns out so i turned them both in all the way and turned them both back out 4 turns. And its running better.

    Its the original motor the only thing thats been changed is it has a distributor with a vacuum advance and he put a mild rv cam in it. It didnt start doing this till this week. But its always been hard to start on initial start up.

    Yea i threw a timing light on it and my notch on my balancer is not under any of the notches on the timing tab. Its about a quarter inch towards the passengers side. My timing tab sets at about 1 or 2 oclock. I had it running at the second point past the big notch which i assume is 0 so i...

    So i can cut that out? Im gonna check the fuse cause now theres no power at the blower motor terminal.

    I just bought the truck 2 weeks ago and they guy said he had to pump the gas to start it. It also has an electric choke thats not hooked up. Hes got it zip-tied open. Could this cause the plugs to foul out faster.

    When i take the air filter off and open the throttle by hand with the motor off it shoots a pitiful stream at first but then the further i open it up it just kind of dribbles out.

    Ill try that. I think i want to swap out the edelbrock for a holley. But ill try the gas in the carb trick.

    And when it fires up it just sputters and i have to give it gas until the motor warms up then it runs like a champ and no back firing of any kind and no hesitation.

    Thats the thing i have no clue which fuse it could be i dont have a schematic for the fuse block.

    Could this be the problem? It goes into the metal tube that the ground is grounded with. Then it goes to the power terminal tab on the motor.

    Well i relocated the ground and i swapped the old motor back in. And the blower motor started working then once i started driving it quit and now it doesnt work! Im stumped on this one if you guys could help me out id appreciate it!!!

    Hey everyone, i forgot to post up an intro before i started posting. Well my names kimber, i have a 1977 gmc grande sierra k25. It has a 6" rough country lift on 35/12.5/16.5 inch tires it has the original 350 4 bolt main but it has a mild "RV" cam. I took a video this morning. Here ya go...
