Coefficient of drag??
Probably a wierd question for something so bricklike BUT i'm wondering if anyone has ever heard a figure, ever, or even an idea of what it might be. :) I read somewhere that the square body was actually one of the first intentionally aerodynamic pickup designs, possibly assisted by computers...- columnshift

list of axle ratio options? (esp in 3/4 and 1 ton)
I'm curious what is out there for swapping options... I'm aware there were GM 12 bolts with all the way to 2.29 ratios, even in the pickup trucks I *think* for the 1/2 ton, but i'm especially curious if there were any 2-series ratios available in 3/4 ton or 1 ton axles especially in 4x4...- columnshift

88-91 Suburban welcome here? Differences?
Well I was sort of hoping for more than 'just power mirrors' as information, yes. :) Usually later years have problems solved that earlier ones don't so i'm probably going to aim for a 1991 Suburban 3/4 ton (or possibly even 1 ton if one was made) then as an acquisition goal. IH DT360/DT466 feasibility?
Has anyone ever done this swap or looked into the feasibility of it? Just curious on something... i'm aware this is sorta 73-87 'square bodies' but they used the same chassis (with a new grille) on the suburbans up until 1991 according to every reference I can find. :) I'm just curious what notable differences there are vs a 1987 model if anyone knows...- columnshift
