    I would get the car trany and put the good parts in the 4X4 case. Its not that hard, There are books/vidos on the rebuilding process. I believe the book tells you how and where to drill the plate for firmer shifts, and what balls to leave out. Its not rocket science Steve

    $50 is a good deal for those, you dont live in a rust state. I would remove all the paint and sand them a little. Buy some Eastwood stainless exhaust paint (black or silver) and paint them. They will last longer and look good. my .02 Steve
