    Hello, are you sure the black wire from the truck wiring was a ground? I just finished wiring my truck with a brake controller and a 7 pin connector and I don't remember a black wire that was a ground. I'm not an expert but could it be an auxiliary power wire to the trailer?

    How hard is it to put a tilt column in a 78 k 10? I have a non tilt and can barely squeeze under the wheel. Looked at the replacement columns that aren't too expensive but it didn't look like it had the ignition on it.

    Sorry about the double pic, don't know how to do that just yet. The wheels touch the drum all the way around, so the weight that's on them interferes. Crazy part is that I put two new drums on it because the left rear was warped and the two new ones only one had weights on it.

    Bought some 1/4" spacers and got the wheels mounted but not without some drama. Seems that I should have measured the bore to know what spacers I should have gotten, I was more concerned with the lug spacing. Had to grind on them to get them to fit ( ugh ). But they are on and working.

    Hello all. Picked up a new to me 78 Chevy K10 this year. The body has been redone but the rest needs work. I've got my work cut out for me. Winter projects coming up.
