What's the most dangerous tool in your shop?

Jimmy/Burb sending unit differences? Lengths?
I'm trying to find a sending unit for a custom tank I'm making. My parts dealer says the 40 gal Burb unit is worth $300 LESS than the Jimmy's 25gal tank unit. Is there a different lengths? (Deeper tanks? I just assumed they were longer tanks, not deeper)- 87R10

Muncie transmission.

Suburban Fuel Tank in Rear of Pick Up???
That link from CaptKaos is the one I was going to suggest. If I recall, this conversion only required a slight mod to a rib below the bed floor. That is, if you go with an early rear spout tank (see LMC truck catalog) where the filler is at the licence plate location. I'm relocating the fuel...- 87R10

In ontario, I believe there is a salvage law. Once a vehicle is written off, it cannot be rebuilt and its ownership has a "salvage" claim on it. I'm not sure if the same goes for vehicles being processed by wrecking yards. They may have wanted to keep it for themselves, or profit from the sum of...- 87R10

I found this treasure last week - Too bad the wrecking yard "can't sell a complete vehicle once it enters the yard" Pre '80 Camper Special with 454...100% complete and restorable sorry for the pic quality - took it with my phone camera dang!- 87R10
