    brake light trouble

    My brake lights arne't working and I was wondering if they were fed off of a pressure switch or off one of the 2 micro switches on the pedal arm. I'll check the pedal arm for the orange and white wired one. Thanks.

    An old FF rear axle. I have a D70 with a missing carrier. Cut the center out if you need it narrower. Brakes would be tough.

    FF 14 bolt, I 2nd that. If you can find one in the yards you might try a Eaton HO. Some had factory 5.13's and Detroits.

    No, it's too long for a straight run, Spicer has calculators for max lengths for each joint a tube size. Once you get over a certin length the tube actually droops in the middle and it's impossible to balance, it just whips.

    Has anyone done one on a 2wd Square? I know Porterbuilt has a rack and pinion setup on their stuff but what is it out of? I'm building a bagged and body dropped C30 and I would like to do a rack conversion, any help or ideas would be appreciated.

    I'm wondering that too Joe, what condenser are you guys using? Not compressor but condensor. I like how the dodge bolts right to the CAC but will it work with the GM evaporator?

    I've run equal and steel bird shot before with good results. I always wanted to run them unbalanced then add the equal to see the difference but I never did. My question is will it balance a 40 series tire? I though I've heard it doesn't work on low profile tires.

    Final upper bag position. There isn't much of the spring pocket left.... I need to get my wheels machined and a tire on one to see if it will truely lay rocker.

    I got lucky and found a whole truck, less trans, cheap. Scrapped everything but the D60 front and the 12V. If I sell the D60 for market value I'll have a free 12V;) The Eaton Trans on the other hand hasn't worked out as well. Here's what she looks like hacked up and stuffed.

    I did manage to get the tire stuffed last night without spindles. I just had to cut away 3/4 of the spring pocket. It turned out pretty nice. I'm hopeing the tubing for the SFBD and the step notch shows up today. I'm also building some bag can and mounts to wrap up the front suspension.

    It's out of a Frieghtliner FL70. It's a straight 6-speed, I thought about an RTO6610 but 10-speeds is a little excessive. It runs a #1 SAE bell housing and a 14" double disc clutch. It was originaly behind a 8.3 Cummins. No matter what you read on the web an 8.3 and a 5.9 are not the same on...

    Thanks, I've read some of his thread before, he's still not on 22"s wo ihs wheel and tire isn't as tall. I'll be out in the shop tonight I'll cut some more of my coil pocket out, I just don't know where I'm going to get another 3" of drop.

    I've heard you can without spindles but I can't seem to get low enough to run 22.5s. I bought spindles but it turns out they were for a C10 so the ball joints are too small. I have z-ed it 4", pie cut the upper control arm, I even pie cut the lower but I'm 3" short of laying my SFBD'd frame...
