    Best brand of fuel pump and sending unit

    My 1986 only has one tank the driver side one 16 gallon I believe... I replaced it recently and did not replace the pump or sending unit and my gas gauge is FUBAR. It reads well past full on a full tank and when it hits half tank I am almost empty. Don't know about you but these type things...

    The light comes on and off when 4wheel drive is engaged and disengaged. It’s not an issue really just bugs me that it’s just dangling under the dash. I bave it wrapped around the e-brake pedal to keep it out of the way.

    Great tip i will try soon as i get home. I did nothing to the truck. When i first looked at the truck before I bought it they worked. Two weeks later when I decided to buy it the seller mentioned that the light just went wacky on him the night before. Been like that ever since.
