Turbo 400 is a auto though isn't it? I don't know to much about transmissions but i know that torque and power put alot of stress on all those components....I need a new transfercase anyway (cracked mine lol)....how much power you pushing?- oreopenguin536

nv450+468c.i.= booom?
I was wondering what manual transmission (if not a nv4500) would hold up to around 500-650 whp without getting smoked every time I take it out wheeling. my plan is to put a 468 big block on my truck but i want to know ehat trans will hold that kind of power and torque.:shrug:- oreopenguin536
