    Steps are the same inner back to 55, but it looks like the top is a tad wider than the bed it's on, and a tad longer as well.

    The inside of mine is fully digital, it has RCA, USB, Aux, Bluet I just like the way the factory looks, the guts are all digital now, but there's no real reason other than looks to do what I've done.

    We're never going to see eye to eye on this lol. But I'm glad you're happy with your new gauge cluster. Me, I drive around with no gauges at all, and if I overheat and engine, another is 170 bucks, and I'm ok with that lol.

    My truck fell backwards off the HF 6 tons. User error, or at least my driveway has a slope to it. They tipped right over and dropped ole Daryl back onto his tires. I'm sure all 6 tons have about the same size base though, so there's not much I can do there.

    79 C10. Under the seat are two holes, that had plugs in them once upon a time. Does anyone know where to find these? I must be using the wrong search terms because I'm getting nowhere.

    Mine looked the same as far as bends, I just had the wrong fitting. Apparently in spite of being a 79 and every book saying the other style didn't start until 80, mine did.

    I cut all the bracketry off, built a frame out of angle that bolts to the bottom of the seats and bolts to the stock brackets. They don't fold forward any longer, but I have something to sit on that doesn't smell like cat pee until I get a stock bench.

    Correct, rear Avalanche seat. BTW, I have an Animals Speed shop DBW pedal bracket that I highly don't recommend to anyone LS Swapping.

    It's not as simple as just tossing a 2.73 gear in and idling around at 100 mph though. Gears that are too tall increase load on the engine, and the transmission. They cause the transmission to hunt, and shift up and downshift needlessly. If I can't hold 60 mph on a two lane without the...
