I do some off road racing with my cousins in a Class 11 VW Bug. There isn't a frame so the roll cage is mounted to the sheet metal body. I went ahead and ordered the 150.2 series connector since it only cost a couple of dollars. I'll report back in a week or so when I know if that is the correct one.- Turbo Dog

The only butt connectors I use are the adhesive lined ones with low temp solder....but I would rather replace the connector. I have the special crimpers for the pins. Here is a pic looking into the module. It doesn't have an indexing tab like the 4 pin 150 series has, that's why I think it is...- Turbo Dog

73 Chevy Blazer - Did this year come with parking brake switch?
My 1987 V30 doesn't have a switch, I would like to add one because after building a high torque stroker 388 I can drive away without remembering to release the parking brake.- Turbo Dog

Yes, that would work except that this one goes into the distributor body. I guess I could hog tie it to the distributor but I would rather put a new connector on even though it isn't a show truck.- Turbo Dog

The locking tab broke off the 4 pin connector when I had to replace the ignition module on my 1987 V30 today. Looking around I thought it might be a Metri-Pack 280 series 4 pin female. Help stop theft 87 V10
How about using a remote control 12V latching switch like these in the link. Put it in series with the ignition power or fuel pump power and hide it out of sight. Push the button once and the circuit is off, push it again and it's on...- Turbo Dog

Howdy all, new to this site. I've done plenty of carb work in the past but this is the first I've heard of mods done to the stock TBI unit. I have a 350 in a 87 V30 4 sp dually flatbed truck. I sold off an 89 K1500 to get this 87 V30 flatbed with a 9 foot Fisher power angle plow. Just getting it ironed out, plenty of stuff to fix. Most of the lights are working, next wish is to make both fuel tanks work and to get the engine fully instrumented. Not sure I'll be able to post pics...- Turbo Dog
