    Installing a New Exhaust System Including Headers

    We just installed Hedmann Ceramic coated LTs on my 86 454 C20. Zero issues under the hood, all fitted great. Nice thick flange on the headers too. Only issue was the chassis cross member on the drivers side... right behind the collector :) They look/sound great. Like them a lot.

    After a heck of a lot of 'customising', we got that evap core to fit. Probably 3-5 hours in adjusting, smashing, hammering, fabricating. Definitely not direct fit. It functions great, but form wise... heck no.

    Thanks for the input. About 2 months ago I set up a stock notification email on Rockauto for the correct 86 evap core, and guess what just pinged my inbox! 1 in stock!! So thats ordered, hopefully will do the trick. :) Ill take a look in to the blower wheels, thanks.

    Does anyone know if the evap core from an 88+ will fit the earlier years? LMC list it as the same part from 78-91. Rockauto make a distinction from 88+. The 88+ part is readily available.
