Auxiliary Spring Bracket

New guy
I have a 74 GMC Super Custom, 2wd 3/4 ton, with a 350. My grandparents have had a 76 Camper special and a 86 burban all my life. My other grandpa gave my dad his 76 chevy 3/4 ton (early 90s) and then after that died my dad got a 82 4x4. So I've had squares in my face all my life. I like working...- B.K. Cunningham

Hood braces
Well I'm only 5'7" so I cant get great leverage. That would be awesome! The yard i went to had a 76 gmc but it was pretty well stripped. On the hunt for a 74 gmc tailgate now.- B.K. Cunningham

No worries. They are well lubed but if you dont push and pull down the left starts to buckle. Hitting the junk yard today for some fun, if i see some ill snag them. Otherwise ill buy new.- B.K. Cunningham

Howdy, just picked up a 74 C20 Super Custom and the passenger side of my hood is showing signs of the classic "square body buckle". Who uses hood braces? Got recommendations? Lmc has some for 20 bucks and I'm not against being cheap. Thanks, Bryan- B.K. Cunningham
