    Its a great setup. Ive got an inline 6 and sm465 in my 81. About to do the clutch, throwout bearing and clutch fork soon.

    85 fuel economy and IMPROVEMENT?

    All three of my trucks, 81 inline 6 1/2 ton, 76 454 3/4 ton and 74 350 3/4 ton (all longbed single cab) get between 8 and 14 miles per gallon loaded or not. It's just what it is.

    81 inline 6 4x4. Still needs a throw out bearing but it does drive.

    I first saw the band for sale separately, got to chatting with the guy and he had this gate on his trailer. He offered to trade me if I had one that would fit. I scored big time. I did a white base coat on the green then fogged on the first layer of Grecian Bronze followed by two full coats...

    they do exist. ive got that one in my 74 right now. its from a 86 though. works perfectly.

    yes. 2010 is the year gm changed the bolt pattern so most will fit before that depending on backspacing and brake size. older Ford and dodge wheels are lug centric and will fit but they have larger hubs. ford changed in 98. not sure when dodge moved away from the 8x6.5.
