    Ok so since your getting fuel to the carb have you checked for spark? Nothing will start if there is no spark from the ignition system. Pull out a plug and stick it into a wire and ground it out well and try starting the truck.

    How do you know its pumping fuel? And if this is a qudrajet carb the filter in the carb maybe plugged or damaged.

    Absolutely. If it does in fact have a mechanical fuel pump they are a wear item. There are 3 parts that make a pump work and if one of those 3 things don't work you won't get fuel. You can take the outlet to the carb off and crank the truck and see if any fuel comes out.

    If you have a carb then you should have a mechanical fuel pump. With a mechanical fuel pump it relies on vacuum to pull fuel and the sending unit mostly relays fuel level. If the sending unit has broken or collapsed or something then you would get a no fuel situation.

    Truth. I have to do all this stuff to mine since I am running a bigger cam. The truck runs and does fine but it needs a lot of stuff tweaked to the carb now lol.

    Drove it to the dump!!! Patched the floor on the passenger side. Ran it out of gas... apparently I do not have half a tank of gas lol

    More updates. Was suggested to block flow to the heater core and this made no difference. So I put a piece of plywood in front of the radiator and this did in fact help. Once I secured the plywood the temps went up as normal and thermostat opened and coolant flowed. When I did this I found...

    Water Pump Pulley = 6.25" Crank Pulley = 7" From what I read you ideally want a 1:1 ratio and since I am still having cooling issues I have nowhere else to look. And I am think a water pump moving too fast can not allow the coolant to absorb heat properly.
