What have you done to your square lately??
Recently purchased my '87 V30. So far I've got a 6" Skyjacker lift. Rebuilt the throttle body. Replaced the starter, exhaust manifolds, air injector tubes and extension tubes. XJ steering shaft swap. 2wd steering box. I'll be ordering my crossover steering from ORD tomorrow. Think I'll go ahead... -
Steering play upgrade
I just did the xj steering shaft swap. It cost me $115.00 for a new one. Just cuz you heat that thing up to get it to move doesn't mean it's gunna be a piece of cake. I actually had to shorten mine to get it to fit. Done in less than a hour.- Mike7ftr

It's really logistics I guess. One day I receive a few parts. The next day a couple more. I still haven't gotten my rear springs. It'll be nice once it all gets here. They're super helpful when I call. It's just aggravating.- Mike7ftr

The '91 is a 6.2l. They are all 4x4. I'd like better mpg's and in the future go to the 5.9 Cummings. I live in Ca so I must go to 6.2 first in order to get the change recognized by the DMV. So says the smog referee. He's the boss. The 454 in the truck is tired as well as a gas guzzler.- Mike7ftr

New member. Thanks for all the good info. I recently purchased a '87 3+3 4x4. It came with a 454. I'm swapping it out for the 6.2. I found a '82 Blazer which is a red block. Right?
