What is this relay for?
Well I hooked the wire up to the dist. block yesterday and with it running and with the AC on it never did kick the fan on. Than it again I'm sure the truck never reached any temperature near needing an extra fan to kick on. I'm just going to leave it hooked up like it is and we'll see what happens.- Bagged Dually

What is this relay for?
I'm not sure I've ever heard the electric fan kick on even with the AC on. That red wire that's been cut looks like it could be long enough to reach the distribution block on the fire wall. What is this relay for?
It's got a single electric fan for the factory AC I had assumed. It has the factory manual fan and the electric is mounted on the front side of the radiator. Did these trucks ever have an electric fan with AC. What made me think it was factory is that it's wired in with all the factory wiring loom.- Bagged Dually

Thanks a lot man. That second link looks like the AC system they show might actually work. I'm going to give them a call Monday and see if they can just sell me the parts I need. It should drop the price quite a bit since I don't need the compressor or lines. Hopefully they will part it out for...- Bagged Dually
