How do I get to the clutch pedal bushings?

I agree with you 100% I'm not into "Jerry" rigging either. I basically just made my own parts when I didn't know the correct replacement parts existed. Also when your broke you do what you can, his pedals were so bad (worst I have ever seen) that I ground off maybe 1/16 to 1/8 of inch of that...

    shackle flip?

I'm thinking about doing the shackle flip on the rear and putting 52 inch springs in the front of my 85 crew cab to get a cheap lift that will still ride somewhat decent. This truck will be a daily driver also. Any suggestions?

    87 crew build

The 4L80E NP208 swap will work good for you. If your worried about it not being strong enough, you could step your transfer case up to a 241C. You will save a lot of weight this way also. Quick question for you though do you still have the 205 transfer case from your 87?

    Write up: Gas Tank Relocation

I figured I could use the same panel as a suburban does on the inside on it. Right now all I have is a 16 gallon tank. This truck is a 4x4 crew cab short bed with a 454 and a 400 turbo. 16 gallons isn't going to get me too far down the road lol.

    Write up: Gas Tank Relocation

I was thinking about having the fuel door in the same place that a suburban is but on the drive side. I know I would have to modify the tank some. Has anyone tried that? Old77 could you give me the link to that website where the filler neck is behind the taillight please. Thank you

    Write up: Gas Tank Relocation

I know this is an old thread revival but could you use the 40 gallon tank to do this same mod and also how did the filler neck in the bed look after finishing? Thanks
