    Ah! You were talking all the way round and under too! I was simply going with driveline fatigue. I agree with almost everything you said there except for one...the steering arm. four inches was tall as they make but at least back in the day a two inch spacer could be bought to go under it...

    O'reilly's has a choice from about $5 to $10. The last time I bought a set they were about $2.00 apiece. But that was about 7-8 years ago maybe.

    Vibration in square body driveline

    Bad driveshaft? LOL! Doubt it. Maybe the slip was removed and when replaced not phased correctly? There is 'supposed' to be a master spline but not always. However, if the truck was ever hung up or high-centered on the driveshaft I guess it could have been dented or bent or had the balance...
