    LS Fuel Pressure

Vent is fixed and hooked back up to a charcoal canister. Not flex fuel. Reset the computer yesterday. I carry an OBD2 scanner with the the truck. Checked everything and was in normal ranges. Will drive it tomorrow and see what happens. I programmed the LS tune myself.

So far the numbers are staying the same. Will have to remove a few things and mount the charcoal canister on the passener side under the air box.

    LS Fuel Pressure

I hooked up my fuel pressure tester, the big gauge, the fuel pressure showed 53psi before starting and after I started it it showed 110psi. I unhooked the return line and run it in a gas can. The pressure gauge showed me 53psi before starting and 53psi after starting, and while it was idling the...

    LS Fuel Pressure

Your #3 advice was what came in mind, will do that first. As for the venting, an oversite on my part. I still have the charcoal canister that was on the truck. I have ordered the 3 outlet sending unit. I'll be using a different fuel pressure tester. Had just put a cheap gauge on the fuel test...

Yes, 5/16" line as return all the way back. Vented, I guess not. Will have to get this fixed. That might be the cause of my fuel pressure.

    LS Fuel Pressure

Uhmm, return system. If I remember right, I used the stock 73 sending unit with two outlets. Could that have an effect with the LS fuel return?

    LS Fuel Pressure

PSI stays above 100 when running with the vacuum line to the regulator hooked up or removed. The fuel system is the stock 2002 Silverado with fuel return line.

    LS Fuel Pressure

I installed a fuel pressure gauge on the 5.3LS in the 73 C10 at the pressure test port. I currently have an external Walbro fuel pump. When I turn the key on, the gauge reads right at 58/59 psi. When I crank it, it reads over 100 psi. Any thoughts?
