    I-Talian Tune UP

Seafoam isn't good for cleaning carbs or trash out of gas tanks. You know what is? Actually taking the stuff apart and physically cleaning them. I see guys on bikes all the time talk about use some seafoam, then weeks later they'll post again talking about how their bike still runs like crap...

    I-Talian Tune UP

Sitting is the worst thing that can happen to older vehicles. Crap in the fuel, lines, filters, etc etc, just makes it's way into the carb and elsewhere. Ethanol makes things worse. If you do not run a motor that has had older types of oils in it and was perhaps not changed often then it is...

Lares vs Cardone steering box reman not Saginaw?

The dead zone in the middle is more likely just because of the overall flex in the frame overall. Hopefully you checked and there were no cracks. ORD makes a piece that mounts to the frame and the front crossmember that is a stiffener but not sure how much it really lends to stiffness compared...

    Fuel supply issue

Also a good source of the problem perhaps.

I need gaskets and seal kit for A 10 spline SM465 NP 205

ORD is kind of my go-to place for many things but it's usually widely available between amazon, ebay, or internet in general. https://www.offroaddesign.com/transfer-case/np205-parts/gasket-seal-kit.html

    Fuel supply issue

I would pull the fuel inlet needle(s) {sorry I have moved on to fuel injection so I can't even remember how to rebuild a carb at the moment and how many needles. Just one on a q-jet I seem to recall though}. Clean that inlet circuit, inspect for debris and see if the rubber tips off the...

    Transmission lowering?

I think a lot of guys forget about the fact that the front drive shaft isn't normally spinning on anything made after 1981 (well, shouldn't be unless you have decided to use an unconverted np203). Driveshaft balance does matter but on the front you won't normally be going as fast as highway...

    HP Tuner MPV12

So just for the sake of argument, lets say I am in the process of doing an LS swap on my K5. I already have a PCM that has had VATS removed and I have mucked about in the tune file using tunerpro. If I swapped to using the MPV12 and VCM would it require me to use the credits to continue tuning...

    HP Tuner MPV12

So I am just curious if this is license locked to an email address or is it licensed to a serial number key? Just curious how it works for ownership transfer if it has been used, or has it not been used and registered. Seems like probably not since you still have the 2 credits. Thanks!

Think I need new springs? shocks? ROUGH RIDE

If it rides rough you are probably needing to get new shocks and also replace all your bushings. Old perished rubber will make stuff not rotate and move as it should and it will prevent proper suspension cycling.

    Wheel choices for 4x4

I'm a 4x4 owner so I am a big fan of OEM rally wheels if you are sticking with a 31 or 33. Now days bigger wheels are the rage but those clown college looking things that brodozers use have no place on a square. Alternatives to stock for me are American Racing AR 62 in brushed finish, AR 172...

    Sheared bolts

I would use a punch and try to tap it counter clockwise before drilling or welding anything. The bolt should not be under that much stress if the head is gone.

Timing on GM GoodWrench Crate Engine?

California is a great place to buy your junk, and then take it and license it in other states. Low rust and from what I saw in the Fbook marketplace Cheap AF. I guess gasmonkey fucknuts has not affected the prices of classic hot rods in that market as much as in the southern states yet.

Size bolt/screw for vent windows to attach to door

I have no idea offhand but I would imagine they are easily found and replaced if you take one off the other door and go find it's match at an ace hardware or whatever local place best serves up fasteners in your area.

Front drive shaft- lost orientation marks!!

If its a front driveshaft It shouldn't really matter. How often are you doing highway speeds in 4 high?

    Transmission lowering?

It doesn't make sense but I see it on long bed trucks too. If someone was worried abotu the front drive shaft there is a far better alternative. It's called 2 high and unlock the front hubs...

700R4 went out while towing. Culprit?

Reading along I see a motor swap was involved. I'm going to venture a guess the TV cable on the 700R4 get taken loose while pulling the carb and stuff. That begs the question was it adjusted it properly once you put the unit back in operation? If not then you may have found out the hard how...

    Headliner from RockAuto?

I'm more familiar with ABS personally and it's usually easier to work and find in thin sheets but I suppose kydex would be similar just so long as its thinner,. I'm used to seeing it in thicker sheets so I am thinking if it were thicker it may be tough to shape to the curve of the roof.

    4l60e Ttansmission

Not 100 % oriented towards trans tuning but this will get you started. It's a lot of research but allows you to pull down and fiddle with the 0411 OS using Tuner pro. I was able to use it to remove the VATS and change some gearing settings on my LS swap but there are tables in the PCM for the...

Where to find tailgate access panel for blazer?

Check your local facebook marketplace and craigslist for people breaking them and selling for parts. The tailgate cover should be easy. It was the same from 73 to 91. The Seat bracket will depend more on what type of seats you have. I've seen a couple different ones in the 90's K5's. If...
