Keep at it. You'll get where you need to be. All these squares have their share of nuances when it comes to the fuel(dual tanks) aspect. Good luck dude!

@consti2tion CW, that is a cool truck. It is sick:doublepuke: 67-72's are my favorite style and yours looks exactly how I would want one. I can dream about it enough and it might happen. I think that's how I got my Square...

Cool truck. Welcome from VA. Is it the same old gas in the tank you got the truck with? Been 2 years right?

I wish I was closer. I would definitely bring my truck by for diagnoses from @SirRobyn0 Rob. I would love someone that could help me decipher what I needed first and what could wait, help decide what I could tackle myself to help along the way etc...

87' R10 TBI 350 shuts off when driving. HeLP

Drove mine today for the first time in about 5 days. It drove great, no stalls or feeling like it would cut out. Just a 5 minute drive over to my wife's parents to wish Happy Mothers Day. Top speed was ~45.

Not getting gas and almost stalling caused by ignition switch?

87' R10 TBI 350 shuts off when driving. HeLP

I have replaced the switch (in the cab) reading that that could be why one tank won't work when switching (amongst other things). The switch itself works. The selector valve could be the problem but the way all power is lost when going from passenger to drivers side makes me think it is likely...

    Fuel guage bounces?

My guage moves while driving but it is obviously related to the fuel moving in the tank(moving the bob) because of inclines or bumps on the road etc. Old guages.

87' R10 TBI 350 shuts off when driving. HeLP

I have seen zero codes thrown. Oil pressure never drops below 30 psi. I did replace the oil pressure sending unit about a year ago after the needle got stuck on 25 no matter what was happening. With new oil pressure sending unit guage is active.

87' R10 TBI 350 shuts off when driving. HeLP

Following this thread as my 87 has acted like it might cut out when leaving from a stop before. After this happened the first time I decided to put in all new plugs and wires. This seemed to give it new life. Recently it happened again while out driving. I also had the drivers side tank die and...
