Brakes still dont work.
If you’re able to fully depress the brakes that many times with the engine off, the master cyl is still going to the floor. Noise is the booster I think. -
8' bed question
There’s nothing special about the bed. 8’ bed is a 8’ bed. Period. There were some factory or dealer packages that included things like camper tie downs though.- Grit dog

OP lucky for you the “77” bed is not a 77. It’s 79 or newer which means even the fuel doors/caps work. Direct swap. Idk what year tailgate hardware switched but very likely that’s the same too.- Grit dog

You’re correct, although looked like orange carpet was an option with my truck (lookin at the options in the Vehicle Info Kit). And my carpet just like that Blazer looks too orange to be brown or possibly too brown to be orange. Everything in the cab is 100% original (except the floor mats)... -

Looks nice! Hey do you know if that carpet is orange or brown? My 77 has the same interior as yours. Needs carpet. Both colors were an option for this paint and int colors. I can’t tell. -

You need to do 2 things. 1. Wait for the new springs to break in. It’ll settle down a little. Unless you bought stiffer springs than you need. 2. Get a front end alignment. Sort of agree, although I would think OPs mileage should be better as well. 37s on a lifted brick is a recipe for horrible mileage. Going to 3.73 gears is a waste of $ imo.
