    I used a 1993 w350 dodge alternator without ecm by using a Ford voltage regulator. Also they make a regulator you can hook up and then it becomes a 1 wire alternator. Just food for thought.

    That's a great idea! I'm planning to do a similar thing by using a 3 speed floor shifter on my side loading 4spd and having reverse sepererate.

    When I got my first 4x4. A 1974 gmc k10 it came with a home built 4" body lift made from 2 X 4" tubing cut into pieces and drilled holes for the bolts to go through. It was pretty floppy lol

    Coolant temp sensor? Unplug it when it does the problem and see if it changes and runs better.
