Shop heater
My 'shop' is a 2-1/2 car garage...partially closed ceiling but no insulation. I have one of those small bullet heaters and a propane tank like you use with a grill. Will put me in a t-shirt in about 10min, but no matter how much I vent it, within an hour I'm shutting it off and leaving from...- Doppleganger

A small section of bed floor
Mine is nice enough that to totally replace it was overkill. 3-4 yrs ago a complete floor panel was $800 and to ship it was $400. Now its $1200/$800. These dont show up in yards around here enough to bet on getting a small section. If I had room I'd keep pieces of stuff like this around for...- Doppleganger

A small section of bed floor
My bed is perfect except for 50c sized holes where there was a 5th wheel. Been wanting to get a piece of bed floor panel and make matching plugs to fill them. Some grinding and spray in liner and its whole again. Dont have $2K for a new bed floor (w/shipping) - intended on buying a patch panel...- Doppleganger

Radio question
The same radio that was in my Dad's '83 Olds 98 Regency. I know these are coveted. Probably the only factory HU I'd use. There is a couple of guys on feebay that restore these.....iirc around $300 but they are like new when they're done.- Doppleganger

What have you done to your square lately??
I had never touched a steering box til mine. There are a few really good vids out there - found that mine was missing parts as I got into it. Best way I could suggest to keep the bearings all in place is to use royal purple grease - everything stays in place. Kits (rings and seals) are cheap...- Doppleganger

What have you done to your square lately??
Cleaned up all the new welds, then used a 2K seam sealer and finished redoing all the old, including (and especially) inside the cowl, then primered the bottom and another coat of primer on everything. Officially done til Spring. :hat:- Doppleganger
