1987 K10 factory set up dual tank small yellow line leaking fuel
@Shoote those are definitely electrical wires, NOT plumbing! Either you have an external leak and the fuel just looks like it is running out of that wire or the valve has failed internally and fuel is running out of the plug.- Redfish

I have dual Magnaflows on The '87 and they sound very similar to the Thrush Turbo Mufflers we had on Dad's '77 GMC back in the very early '80s. I don't love them but I do like them. -

Perhaps try opening the bleed screw on top of the housing before you try installing the filter? You might be having trouble compressing the fuel in the pre-filled filter. If I remember correctly that O-Ring at the top can easily get misaligned. Most of the filters didn't have a groove for that O-Ring. @JamesSam this is a ridiculously easy radiator to replace. I had no idea how bad mine was until I actually pulled it out. It was leaking from several places. -

So really, you haven't moved any closer to What Is It Really Worth than when you started. My suggestion is to look on AutoTrader Classics and see what "similar" trucks are listed for. They rarely get their asking price by the way. Look on Bring A Trailer and see what similar trucks actually... -
