@bucket no, the 2500HD springs are NOT weak. I have done things with the 3 different 2500HDs that would have sent the designing engineers into cardiac arrest. I don't think this one matters. If the Scotch were still in a barrel, the extra years would make a difference. Wine continues to mature in the bottle but whisky (Scotch doesn't have the "e" like other whiskey) is pretty much going to stay the same once it is bottled. As far as I know anyway... -

That is a 1988 and is either throttle body or TPI. All Camaro engines were fuel injected in '88. In '85 there were fuel injected Z28s but the lower level Camaro 305s were carbureted.- Redfish

And if the alignment tech is a good one he may just find some other problem(s). Mine was pretty bad until I replaced the stabilizer. Yes, I saw you already did that. I had also but using a "stock" replacement stabilizer did nothing. A heavy duty, Skyjacker stabilizer set up for larger tires...- Redfish

What have you done to your square lately??
We like to call this Percussive Calibration. Operators in the plant love to use it on level switches, pressure switches and sometimes on transmitters. I&E Techs hate this. -

All of that is good advice but if it is toed out so badly he can clearly see it and he is out of adjustment, something is WRONG. My tie rods are both screwed in pretty far but there is some thread left on both. Unless you have some incorrectly matched components I don't see how you could run out of adjustment. Just crawled under the nose of it to check, I have about 3/4 inch of thread on the driver's side and about 1/2...- Redfish

@legopnuematic is 100% correct here. You need to do both sides. When you seal one side only you will have a moisture imbalance and the boards will curl. This will happen inside a house, it will happen outside in a truck bed. Our members who live in more arid climates may have a different... -

Shou Sugi Ban/Yakisugi? I just bought a torch large enough to do this, about to try it on the lumber coming off my sawmill. Are you going to add any type of oil or sealer? And did you burn it on the other side and ends also? It looks really good by the way. -

87 tbi zero power
I would start at the battery and the battery terminals. That is the easiest spot to reach anyway. You said the battery is good...but how do you know? Put a meter on it and see if the voltage reading drops when someone else tries to start the truck.- Redfish

I would have thought that any 350 "from the '90s" would not have the hole in the block to accommodate a mechanical fuel pump, those motors should have been either TBI or TPI, not carbureted.- Redfish

What have you done to your square lately??
I have had surprisingly good results shopping for bolts/screws/fasteners from Lowe's. There is an Automotive section in the bolting and I have been able to replace several fasteners over the last few years that looked just like what I removed and lost from my GMC(s). -
2.5" or 4" Lift 1986 K10
It has more rake now. Both @danzey and myself prefer a bit of rake. I actually wish my truck had a bit more rake than it does.- Redfish

It cannot be that expensive to take your truck to a local muffler shop and have them weld up your exhaust. When I got my truck the PO had cobbled together an awful mess of piping. I brought it to a local guy and when he finally understood that I wanted the exhaust to look like he had done it...
