I didn't order springs, but I got the impression that is exactly what they do. Just ordering the u-bolts had a ton of options for me to fill in exactly the dimensions I needed, so I think they actually made the bolts to my specs. Rebuilding rear axle DIY?
I just swapped my 14 bolt, but I cheated. I found another good complete rear diff with the gears I wanted, and just put new seals and outer axle bearings in it, then swapped the whole dang thing. No gear setup needed.- BigT

O'Reilly's had a small assortment of "universal clips - none of which fit, of course! I might be able to make something work in a pinch, but I'd rather not have to. Summit didn't have any that I could find. Push come to shove, I could always use a bolt instead. -

I need the little "E" clips that hold the e-brake lever pivot peg in place where it pokes through the rear brake shoe on my 14 bolt rear end. Anyone know where I can find them? -

The only issue I see is that the underside of your truck is way too clean. It will not function properly if it's not covered with grease and dirt. Noob.- BigT

Clamping brake lines to axle tubes?
What do you guys use? My tabs are broken off, and short of welding new ones on (which is a possibility) what do y'all suggest? I'd like something that is durable and doesn't look like a complete **** show. BigT -

Yes, it is a 12 bolt full floater. I've been fortunate enough to find another complete rear end with 3.73 gears in it to swap it with. The drawback is that someone cut the spring perches off of it and the shock mounts are in the wrong place for my truck, so now the question is whether to move...- BigT

Bulge Acorn Lug Nuts 7/16-20 Chrome 3/4" Hex
I just order some 13/16 hex 9/16 x 18 acorn nuts from them this morning. They were out of the 16 packs, so to get 32 I had to order a 23 and a 10 pack, for 6 more bucks. But, I used the Mortske code and got free shipping at least. -

Haha, no I never had them. I found them both on feebay for decent prices yesterday, one of them being NOS, so I nabbed them. Now I just have to buy a 400 dollar compressor from Old Air Products and one last piece of line, and I should be good to put it in this summer. And then pay someone to... -
