    I have Procomp's 6", and they were stiff as fuck, until I removed the two bottom leaves, and added a zero-rate to keep the ride hight. Big difference in how it rides!

    There should be a bracket with a screw that attaches to the trim behind the emblem side, it goes through the small hole on the cab, and there should be a speed nut back behind the cab, you have to stick your hand up in that corner where the speaker is to get it on or off.     I had heard that the LED's would only work with a electronic flasher, my stock flasher works just fine.

    If it's not for the license plate, then it might be something that was added as part of a towing package from the factory. It doesn't look aftermarket to me.

    Differential leak

    I had similar issue with my axle once. It turned out to be the pinion seal. It was leaking, and while driving it around, the oil would run down and cover the entire bottom half of the diff cover. I thought it was the welds also.

    That light there, is your license plate illuminator. I got pulled over many a times for that bulb being out. The police here in AZ are rather tough on that.

    A few weeks ago I walked into autozone, and was checking them out on their display. They had a price of $28 for the pair of stop/parking light LED's. I still don't know how they stay in business with online stores like rockauto, ebay, amazon etc.

    I'll try to get a few shots tomorrow night. The reverse lights are definitely about 5x brighter, the parking lamps about 2x, the stop lights are also about 5x brighter. The blinkers and hazards have a much sharper cut(off/on) to them, I think its pretty cool.

    That's the vacuum switch that controls torque converter lock-up. The hose is supposed to be hooked up to manifold vacuum.

    Today I replaced the tail light/stoplight 1157, reverse light 1156 filament bulbs, with some LED super brights. All I can say is WOW!

    Right on! So how much brighter are the than the sealed beam? I was gonna order some a while back, but kinda felt they were more of a novelty item, with low functionality. How far out does the light shine? and do they fit well in the buckets?

    It will fill eventually, mine did. Been running great, no issues. My conclusion, is somehow for some reason, the fuel is vaporizing at that point.

    The fronts should fit just fine. The rear is a different story, I believe 3/4 ton trucks came with 56" rear springs, most 1/2 tons came with 52"
