    Show your sick toy !!!

It's a 1987. I did a complete "Refurbish" on it's appearance, replaced almost every bearing & bushing in the entire suspension. I did sell it last spring though! Added DG performance exhaust, really brappy & torquey little machine! Wheelies were super-easy. The headlight shrouds were a bit of a...

Vacuum lines where do they go

That vacuum pot should be for your choke, not exactly sure on what vac port it should be connected to. You should be able to find a vac diagram on this site somewhere.

    I finally gave up.

With the mixed reviews on the fit & finish of other...

Anybody got a fully functional cassette player?

I have an electronic tune that I'm cleaning up but haven't tested yet. Same one that's in my '87. I think it's missing the treble button though, but you can usually find those .

Freak Injury Upon Another Freak Injury To Hand Requiring Emergency Surgery (Tool Safety)

I know a guy, a retired Stone Mason in fact. He built a cabin in the mountains and thought it was a good idea to cut out his window bucks with a 7-1/4" skill saw blade in his 8" grinder with no guard. It kicked back right into his face, cutting deeply into his jaw & inside of his mouth. Luckily...

Loud Knock After Replacing Intake Manifold

Usually, a rod knock is more of hard ringing sound. That just doesn't sound like a deep enough knock to be a rod to me anyway. Did you pull spark plugs?? Could be part a plug in the cylinder.

This makes 0 sense to me! Heater hose route

Right, it won't flow until stat opens, but coolant is getting warmed sitting in the intake & engine before hand.

This makes 0 sense to me! Heater hose route

My '87 is like that only the connection is behind the TB and the Coolant Temp Sensor is where your hose connects to manifold. I'm assuming GM did that on the TBI's for a more accurate reading, the coolant having to travel further before it gets to the temp sensor.

This makes 0 sense to me! Heater hose route

On my '87 auto, the wp is plugged, no heater hose connects to it. I'm 99% sure it's factory.

This makes 0 sense to me! Heater hose route

That's EXACTLY what my '87 auto does, nothing off the water pump. My manifold fitting is behind the TB though, but I'm pretty sure that's original. Not t's or y's in my system whatsoever.
