    Rear Bumper 1986 K10

I do remember before I installed mine that I jacked the back of my truck up, turned the bumper upside down then blocked the ends of the Westin bumper up in the air, put blocks from my receiver hitch to the bottom hitch plate of the bumper, and let the weight of my truck take some of the smile...

Issues with being stood for a long time?

Check fluids for cross-contamination first. Also check clarity and give them a sniff to see if any are burnt or fuel washed, Then, if all is ok & full, fire it up, it'll be somewhat of a crapshoot if the seals are going to start hemorrhaging fluid. If it's been inside, it's had some type of...

Please help with very high idle 3500-4000

Once you get the vac lines & PCV hooked up & in the right order, invest in a can or 2 of carb cleaner! If it's been sitting that long, even plan on a carb kit & rebuilding it. An electric, adjustable choke needs to be set properly for start-up & smooth idle.

Rear wheels are sucked in way more than front. K10. Adapters? BAD IDEA? pics inside

Yeah, and I'll say this about the GMT400 indy front axles. Dodge & Ford boys argue that GM's indy's don't get as good as traction as their trucks. I've been slayin' elk & retrieving them out of deep snow & steep mountains for 30 years, using my '89. All I can say is bring your $ you WANT to...

Rear wheels are sucked in way more than front. K10. Adapters? BAD IDEA? pics inside

Wasn't the reason the GMT400 moved the fuel tanks inside the rails because of the BS lawsuit the kids parent's hit GM with because their son got t-boned at 55 mph & his Squarebody truck exploded??

    Rear Bumper 1986 K10

I only remember an occasional truck on the lots without rear bumpers. I think you could order them that way though.

Looking At Buying 1997 Cheyenne C1500 As Daily Driver Feedback Please

The '97's had the Vortec, so they have decent power. It will not compare in fuel mileage to the CRV but will do more from a working standpoint. Myself, I'd take a Chevy truck over anything foreign anyhow, but I'm all for the home team!

My '87 also had the pump removed, and there is a two-wire sealing plug laying on that side of my engine. The pumps do have an electrical connection to them. I can't recall exactly what colors they are though.

Show me your 8 lug wheels!

Sidewall strength & height are more critical. I've had taller tires that feel like I was riding on cat sh*t when I had a load on because of sidewall flex. Physics take over if they get too tall!

What have you done to your square lately??

You must be RICH! Normal Joes can't afford to waste that much of a tire at the current pricing of them! :laughing1: :laughing1:
