    I recently put a 454 in place of the 350 and I reused all the sensors and sending units from the 350. Had to get a reducer to use the small block temp sender.

    Do you have the right sending unit? May need to use the sending unit from the diesel engine.

    I bought an all aluminum 3 row radiator, had to trim a couple inches off the fan shroud, still using the small block fan/clutch assy. I daily drive it and it does use a little more gas than it did but towing my trailer it does better on gas.

    I didn't have any problems at all, hell it was the first time I set a motor in place and was able to slide the motor mount bolts right in. My burb is a half ton but the lift kit is for a 3/4 ton so it actually rides better with more weight on those stiff ass springs. I did have to change...

    could i put a Tbi on a 383 stroker?

    Shouldn't have to change fuel pumps. I have a 91 burb I recently put a 454 in, before I did I looked up the part number for a fuel pump with a 1/2 ton 350 and for a 3/4 ton with a 454 and got the same part number for both.

    I just put a stock 454 tbi motor in my burb and it tows amazing now. I had thought about building a 383 but the 454 swap was way cheaper.

    Well I have a 454 in front of a 700r now. Have yet to hook up the trailer but so far its doing fine.
