I really prefer to be in total control of my machines. Shifting gears is fun and the ability to pop start a vehicle is nice, has saved me a number of times. @SquareRoot I am getting just over 12mpg with my set up....assuming I'm not driving straight into the wind or pulling a bunch of hills. Would really like to see 15-16 because this is a daily / mountain bike trip camper.- 83Burban

It's quite intermittent....today and yesterday it had zero issues. But the problem does only happen after sitting over night. Ive been looking for a NV4500 sense I bought the Truck. Truck was originally a 4speed and they converted to the TH400 when they did the 454 swap. Going back to man...- 83Burban

TH400 help.
I would assume that if it was low on fluid, that it would act that way regardless of temp. Again, it's only when its cold. Which is odd to me. I've read that overfilling these a little is no big deal. Can anybody confirm this? I just drove it 175mi to SE Kansas....zero issues...driving...- 83Burban

It feels just like the C6 in my Lincoln would when the oil was WAY low. But ive checked it a bunch and its not. This truck only has a slight leak on the rear diff. Does not use or lose anything else surprisingly.- 83Burban

No. Its silent. Nothing seems out of the ordinary. If I put my foot on the break and gently rev it up....it will engage, and pretty gently.- 83Burban

So....im going to be adding a different spacer for the heat soak issues. I actually have to have a 1" spacer for the linkage to clear the intake anyways. I paid 2k w/ the mag wheels Owner said it had a "blown engine". I drove it 4 hours from Omaha NE to Kansas City on 5 cylinders. Turned out it just had 3 bent pushrods....so hell yeah. Does not use oil. Leaks a tiny bit. Lol the only fast thing about this car is the trip the gas needel...- 83Burban
