I was just suggesting some options. A pop-up is about as much tent camping as a tent on a roof, and a lot easier to relieve yourself of said beer. To me, tent camping is on the ground.- WFO

I broke the hose nipple off one of those while changing the thermostat on my 79 Vette. It looked just like yours. The one I bought looks a little different, but works the same. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/SMP-PVS16- WFO

How do i get to these c clips!?!?!
I've never put them in, just taken them out, so I'm not sure. Maybe a heat gun would help. A big ass socket or a square cut piece of pipe should make a good driver though.- WFO

Make sure those bearings are greased well. Those inner seals keep the gear lube from getting to them.- WFO

Your axle/axles are probably worn. If so, you need to replace the axle/axles, or find new axle saver bearings. I went through this on my 69 Chevelle SS 12 bolt, and went ahead and bought new axles.- WFO

Subwoofers
I bought a wedge shaped box for 10" that was covered with black cloth. Pulled the cloth back a little ways, and cut 7/8" off the back of it with a Skillsaw. Broke the 7/8" off the back panel with Channellocks, then glued and screwed the back panel back on, and reglued the cloth. It sits behind...- WFO
