In California pre 2000 trucks need to be smog tested on a dyno BAR97. Most shops are not willing to maintain older equipment for 20 something year old vehicles. I have already had to go out of town to get a smog. Hoping at some point it will be a hardship and pre 2000 trucks will be exempt here...- Finkaire

Deadening Actual Fenders, Bed Panels, Doors and such????
This worked perfectly on my truck inside the doors and anywhere on the interior I could get to, huge difference. And the price is right! -

Drop Shackles hitting bed
Considering 1” to 2” drop shackles for the rear. I’ve got a 1/2 ton Stepside with heavy duty springs. Any problems to be aware of?- Finkaire

‘84 Stepside ready for paint!
The shell is at the body shop. It was either silver or white, silver and white or white with a silver stripe. Going with the white as suggested, era correct. -
Stance of Two Wheel Drive Square Body
Two bags of cement, one in each corner, have them load it. Cheap and makes for a better ride and gives you better traction. Nice looking truck by the way! -

Anybody modify the 4x10 speaker mounts in the back?
Retrosounds from Crutchfield using stock speakers sound pretty good. So…. if you are going to change the corner speakers, are you changing the dash speakers as well? -
Muffler recommendations
The flowmaster resonator combo is on my ‘68 Elko. Went from turbos to the flowmasters and wasn’t happy until they added the resonators, your right, not inexpensive. Still running the original muffs on the c10, cat replaced.- Finkaire

Muffler recommendations
3 chamber flowmasters with resonators. Louder than stock, the resonators take the edge off for nice sound. IMHO- Finkaire

Fm radio not working
Retro- sound from Crutchfield, plug and play. No cutting no splicing with adapter provided. I retained the OE speakers, sounds great! Bluetooth included- Finkaire

Nice, you are going to want to swap out the radio anyway, all cars/trucks need suspension work. A/C could be expensive but I see you are in Washington, Pull the trigger- Finkaire
