No car had the body lines of the Monte, that was my big attraction! In fact, I still want an '88 Aerocoupe, T-top, buckets car.

    OER compared to LMC

You can buy the new bezel and the brushed overlay for about $30 cheaper through LMC. I'm pretty sure they are made by the same supplier.

CLEAN 80s K10 in Seattle for sale

Nothing wrong with the 305, just a bit doggy. Removing a cat & running a set of good flowing duals makes a huge diff. Had an '86 Monte SS with the HO 305 that ran pretty damn good. Hell , I passed on buying several of the turbo 6 banger GN's because of that V-8 power! (IDIOT!!!!)

    OER compared to LMC

A lot of those re-pops are made/suppled from same manufacturer overseas. Especially the GM Restoration parts, just different distributors. I really like my dash overlay I got from LMC, you just have to rub hard in a couple places to keep it stuck.

What have you done to your square lately??

Installed new fuel pump in auxiliary tank, after cleaning the gunk out of it. Rinsed it with gas, sloshed a chain around inside to break up rust scale, blew it out with air. I had to go pick a set of tank straps as mine were rusted through. Had to replace my 6-8 month old fuel tank valve as I...

Visor mount; over or under trim?

But it's not the correct way... Unless you're meaning the actual visor itself, then yes, it does rest on the trim piece.

    Dash speaker fit issue

It was mainly because the aftermarket dash pad hit the speakers on the factory brackets, so I just eliminated them.

    Dash speaker fit issue

I had to eliminate the factory speaker towers & mount my Kickers right to the dash opening. This puts the terminals below metal dash surface.

    1984 Blazer 4x4 w/6.2 TH400 ZERO RUST!

I have an '84 Blazer 4wd with non-running 6.2 diesel(was told it blew a head gasket when parked) It has a TH 400 that looks pretty damn dry on the outside, hardly any seepage! I believe it has 3:08 gears, but haven't confirmed this yet. It has a fair amount of dents, but very repairable, except...

Visor mount; over or under trim?

Yeah, you got to do the visors first unless you re-drill visor location holes but I think that is impossible as the visor arm stud & spring have a factory hole they need to recess into.

Visor mount; over or under trim?

My visor mounts are under the trim, they went on first otherwise they'll smash the headliner trim.

    1982 Chevrolet C10 headlights help

Check fuses first! Your cigarette lighter shouldn't have anything to do with your headlight switch, unless someone hacked the harness. Also, the actual cigarette lighter element could of coincidentally burned out, they will do that. Sounds like you need a new headlight switch though, regardless.

    Dual tanks dilemma

That's a beautiful truck! An uncommon color scheme, but very cool! You could have the fuel wells draining on the Quad when sitting for a bit, a very common problem, thus having to pump it to get fuel moving again. Also, test your fuel pressure as pump could be weak too.
