New wiring dosnt do anything when key is on.

So what I'm getting from that i do have a short. Because they key was off when I took that pic and I don't have barely anything hooked up yet. Only thing I belive that is hooked up right now that would have constant power is the dakota digital box.

New wiring dosnt do anything when key is on.

So I've done some testing and fixed my grounds. But I think I have a short somewhere? Info is a little confusing. It seems I shouldn't be getting a reading or when I touch the positive and neg cable with my ohm reader. (The key off) But I did (as you can see ablove) it's on the m ohm setting...

New wiring dosnt do anything when key is on.

Where all is the cab supposed to be grounded? All I have/know of is the 2 wires in the back of the cab that jump to the frame.

Guess I never said when I made the original post. It is all new harness. 27 circuit painless performance one.

New wiring dosnt do anything when key is on.

Finally got to the point where I can try to test my new wiring. I wired pu the frame with the body off. Then yesterday I put on my new cab, from a 1984 c10. Been wiring it all day today but I try to turn it on and nofthing happens. Currently the only thing on is the cab. So no exterior lights...

    Ac unit 84 cab.

Keeping this short. I need some sort of new "factory" ac replacement for my 84 c10 cab. Ac is different than on the 79. Unless I can make the 79 ac fit? I also don't need a compressor. I want to get vintage air which is 1800$. But I am getting a no. I don't mind being told it would be more...

    Sway bar for lifted c10

What makes that one so much more expensive compared to the 150-300$ ones I see? That are also thicker?

    Tubular on the c1oh

That's exactly what I was going to do. I don't particularly want to go off cutting crap off for tubular or moving the shocks. I prefer it to be reversible. If I ever want to de lift it or someone else does.

    Tubular on the c1oh

Well it's also got 35" tires on 15" rims. And the current springs might be kinda weak. They're ebay springs. Can you send a picture of the drop bracket? In my opinion I think a sway bar could do it for the truck. And if not some c20 springs could.

    Tubular on the c1oh

Ive got a few questions. Which i belive I've asked on my build thread but i wanted to expand and explain here. So for thoes who don't know i have a lifted 79 c10. 4.5" spindle lift. It has quite alor of body roll, but no sway bar. I have some peeps telling me I need to do a tubular upper...

    700r4 leak

Ahhhh. Okay. We were looking at it and it is zip tied and we didn't think it was right.

    700r4 leak

I have this leak that I think started after I took the cab off. But I belive it might have been going since before. But it's been getting worse and worse. The plug is wobbly. I thought it was the od sensor but I can't find much info on it. That puddle you see under the truck is from just last night.

    Sway bar for lifted c10

Is there a difference to spring rates between coilovers and regular springs? As in. If a regular spring says it's 850lb in is it stiffer compared to a coilover of the same rate? Or do I have this all wrong?

    Electronic speedo 79 c10.

I actually haven't heard of them. But imma look into that, though I need something that isn't extremely expensive.

    Electronic speedo 79 c10.

I'm wondering if anyone knows of any speedo gauges for a electronic vss. I have a 90s 700r4 in my truck and I need to put a electronic vss in it. However I don't know of any gauges besides one. (Automeeter 7004) that has thw ability for one and to be calabrated. Anyone have some help?

Any thickness or one you suggest? I don't know what would be considered good.... yet.

    Sway bar for lifted c10

Rear has several removed leafs. I do agree front is maybe contributing a little. It has new springs but they are factory c10 rate. But I think it's a combination of lack of sway bar and really light rear springs... maybe a little front. Also sorry if things go over my head. I have a small...

im also thinking about getting ne rear leaf springs? instead of the blocks. hope that can reduce roll by adding more stiffness, though i have no clue ho to measure hat i need.
