    What ever you do, do not let any glass monkey use urethane on your front glass. There is a drain hole at the bottom of each corner. If the urethane them shut the pictures above will be even worse. When I pulled my glass I found urethane from the last glass I had installed and BIG ASS holes...

    Yes, the ultimate goal is to not mess with the panels at all after the final coat of clear. also if you are painting panels, lay them flat for the final coat if possible to really lay it on thick and wet with less chance of sag or run. Eric

    Blocking the clear with 800 just levels out the last of any orange peel or imperfections, makes it like glass. No it will not show in the final coat. Door racks were custom made to paint whole door at one time. Just stock tubing welded together. Will get you some pics of the feet and arms...

    I am winning! The cab is finished, 4 coats of color gm8774 on top of bright white sealer, 3 coats of clear, last coat blocked out with 800 and final clear coat. Fenders and doors, same treatment ready for 800 blocking of clear then the final coat. Eric p.s. and the chopped studebaker coupe

    I just pulled a set of manual regulators out of some donor doors I had, The hard to get rollers on the donor are in great shape compared to my OG regulator rollers that are toast. Thanx for the tip! Eric

    5.7 Exhaust Manifold Bolts

    Exhaust manifold bolts are famous for snapping off. I would not fool with them unless you are prepared to pull the heads, or easy out if able to access the broken one. YMMV Eric

    This whole thing does not make me feel warm and fuzzy. My fall back plan is to pull the regulators out of my glass donor doors as they are way better than the ones I have in regard to the rollers. Eric
