    Rust converters and Frame paint

I just bought some rubberized under coating from advance for a non truck project. That $hit covered like a boss and had great adhesian with little or no prep. It also covered without glopping up. If I had discovered this 1 year ago, I would not have wasted all that money on frame paint and...

What did you pay for a square

I paid 8k i think for my 87 k10 short bed in 1993. Almost 30 years later and the oem motor having 300k+ before she quit, I am still happy. Everyone said I over paid at the time of purchase, but I beg to differ. Eric

What new tools have you got lately?

I wanted a 3 ton arbor press, but hated the money. I just missed a 3 ton Drake with floor stand on craigs..... So I settled for a 1 ton from grizzly with a 30" cheater bar and a 50 pound weight. lol Time will tell if it was a good idea or not. Eric

    Need advice for doing Kilmat/Boomat/Dynomat

I used the stuff from jegs with great success. I found that a assortment of rollers and the heat gun also helped install. I agree with the 60% and you are done theory as well. A 2'x2' whack of that stuff in each door made the most significant impact out of all of it. Eric

Hi and welcome. All they can get. What you want is considered " full on custom work ". They will make you pay. If it is not your daily driver, buy some tools, take your time and learn some stuff. YMMV Eric

    new floor mat

I pre baked mine in the cab in the sun, it helped but not enough. I found that after getting it pretty close to where it needed to be that the judiscious use of a heat gun really got it to lay down and mold into place. Eric

    Roof Sheet Metal

I feel your pain. Shrinking metal and moving it around is an art form. Most new body guys don't get it. Panel changers and glue experts is where the industry has gotten to. The older guys who know how to use all the body hammers in their tool box is who you are looking for. As a fall back...
